Big Wave Party Rentals offers wet and dry combos, dual-lane units, themed inflatables, castle designs, bounce-and-slide combos, and multi-feature units. A regular bounce house focuses primarily on bouncing. A combo adds other ways to play. Depending on the inflatable, that can mean a slide, climbing feature, basketball hoop, obstacles, dual lanes, or water play.

If you want more variety in one rental, start with the combos.

Choose dry when you want bouncing, climbing, and sliding without water. Choose wet when you want to add water to the slide experience for a warm-weather event. Most dry combos are $315 and most wet combos are $385. If you're unsure, call us and tell us what you're planning.

Without visiting your location, we can't know for sure, so every unit's setup area requirements are posted under “More Info” on its page. It is the customer's responsibility to measure. The units are bigger than you think, and we'd hate to show up on your special day and not be able to set up because of size. Additional clearance may also be needed around the inflatable.

Age, size, and rider requirements can depend on the specific rental. Check the individual rental details, or call us before booking if older kids or adults will be playing.

Your price covers an all-day rental (up to 8 hours) along with delivery, setup, and pickup. A minimum order may apply depending on your location. Prices do not include Delaware rental tax (1.9914%) or any applicable state tax for Maryland and Pennsylvania. Review the individual product and checkout details for any rental-, location-, or event-specific requirements or charges.

Enter your event's exact start and end times. We'll make sure your rental is ready to go for your specific start time. A day or two before, we'll text you a delivery window, and we've never been late to an event. Delivery may happen the day before, but we can't guarantee that, so please don't tell the kids.

Once you know your event date, it makes sense to reserve early, especially for weekends, holidays, school events, and other popular dates. Availability varies by rental and date.

We serve Newark, Middletown, and Wilmington, DE; Elkton, MD; Landenberg, PA; and surrounding communities. Events outside our normal service area may still be possible depending on location and availability, and additional delivery fees may apply there.

Make sure there's at least 6 ft of access to the setup area. Inflatables can weigh up to 700 pounds, so we need a clear path with no stairs or steep hills.

We're very flexible. We understand the weather doesn't always cooperate. If you or Big Wave decides it's necessary to reschedule, your deposit can be used toward anything on our website. We may require rescheduling based on the current forecast from Weather.com and/or WeatherUnderground.com.

We can't set up some items when the forecast calls for a 30% chance of rain or greater. We also can't set up inflatables with sustained winds over 15 MPH or projected gusts of 15 MPH or more. In that case, you can reschedule or choose replacement items from available equipment. If you cancel within 30 days of the event, the deposit may not be refundable but can be used as a raincheck toward another rental.

Yes, every order requires a $100 deposit. We accept cash or credit cards. If you pay in cash, please have exact change, because our drivers don't carry cash. Final payment by credit card must be made before or at delivery, and a technology fee applies to card payments. We accept company checks only.

Yes. A blower keeps air in the inflatable the entire time, and once it's unplugged the unit deflates. We require an outlet within 100 feet of the unit, or a generator. Big Wave provides the heavy-duty extension cords. No outlet nearby? Add a generator to your order. Questions about water connections for a wet combo? Call 302-229-9801 and tell us about your event.

Grass is our favorite and best for the kids. We can also set up on asphalt, concrete, or indoors on a gym or similar floor. We can't set up on rocks, gravel, mulch, or sand, because the constant rubbing wears through the vinyl. An additional surface fee applies to units not set up on grass that need more than 10 sandbags.

Yes and no. Parks are available most months, depending on demand. Because parks are open to the public, the customer must be with the unit at all times, so exact setup and pickup times are harder to accommodate in our busy season (June, July, and August). Generators are a must-rent in a park. Please call to reserve in a park so we can check availability.

Yes. Big Wave Party Rentals is licensed and insured in Pennsylvania, but not every unit is PA approved. Look for units marked PA, MD, DE Approved (or DE/MD/PA), and see our PA approved inflatables. All units are approved for Delaware and Maryland.

We deliver to the University and the surrounding area only for University-sponsored events.
